HPC User Survey in NRW 2024

Thank you for taking part in this survey.

Note: This survey is anonymous. The statistical results will be made public by the end of 2024. Please feel free to answer in English or German.

High-Performance Computing (HPC) is considered an indispensable resource for advancing academic research and development. To improve and extend the range of HPC services as well as the availability of HPC resources the state of North-Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) has set up the NRW-wide competence network HPC.NRW.

The purpose of this survey is to ascertain the users' need for HPC support, software, training, security, and research data management. Thus, your answers will help us to assess and improve the availability and type of support, software, tools, consultation, courses, and so forth, on the HPC clusters you currently use. The ultimate goal is to minimize any barriers that may be encountered, when using the different HPC systems, enabling you to carry out your research more efficiently.

More details on the HPC.NRW Competence Network for High Performance Computing can be found at https://hpc.dh.nrw/.

If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us at helpdesk@hpc.nrw.
